Turnkey Water & Wastewater Treatment in Oman

Apex Integrated Solutions (Vanterra by Apex) delivers turnkey water and wastewater treatment in Oman — sewage treatment plants (STP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), and modular seawater and brackish reverse osmosis (SWRO/BWRO) — from its Muscat base. Delivery runs on EPC or Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) models with a single programme director accountable from process design to commissioning.

What Vanterra delivers

  • Municipal and industrial sewage treatment plants (STP)
  • Industrial effluent treatment plants (ETP) for chemical, oil and process-contaminated streams
  • Modular SWRO / BWRO plants, including containerized units rated around 2,000 m³/day
  • Decentralized wastewater recycling for commercial and SME sites
  • Hydrocarbon soil remediation and industrial landfill leachate treatment
  • Marine baseline studies and environmental compliance programmes in Oman

One engineering spine

Vanterra does not work in isolation. Feedwater assay and membrane integrity testing run through Labvance; high-pressure pumps and isobaric energy recovery come from Petrovia; containerized modules and heavy tie-in equipment move through Silverfin. One contract, one QA system, one programme director — the seams between contractors are removed by design.

Experience on record

The founding team behind Apex has achieved technical qualification on a USD 35M tender for a 20 MLD STP and executed a five-year, USD 6.5M Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) concession in wastewater infrastructure. That execution record — 15+ years of frontline industrial command — is delivered to clients through Apex on every engagement.

Commercial models

EPC — engineering, procurement and construction to a fixed scope and schedule. BOT — Apex structures financing, builds, operates for an agreed term, then transfers the asset. Both models carry the same engineering spine and single-point accountability.

Direct answers

What is the difference between an STP and an ETP?

A sewage treatment plant (STP) treats municipal or domestic wastewater to discharge or reuse standards, while an effluent treatment plant (ETP) treats industrial wastewater contaminated with chemicals, oils, or process residues. Apex Integrated Solutions designs both, selecting biological, chemical, and membrane treatment trains to the client's effluent assay.

How long does it take to build a modular SWRO plant?

A containerized seawater RO plant of roughly 2,000 m3/day typically takes about eight months from survey to handover when delivered as an integrated package — feedwater assay, membrane skid fabrication, factory acceptance testing, transport, and site tie-in on one synchronized schedule, as delivered by Vanterra by Apex.

What does a turnkey water treatment project include?

A turnkey water treatment project bundles process design, equipment supply, fabrication, installation, commissioning and operator training under one contract — a single party is accountable for treated-water performance. Vanterra by Apex delivers turnkey STP, ETP and RO projects in Oman on exactly that basis.
